Hi Good day to all. I don't know why this coin is partly grey on the obverse. It also has a die crach from the cheek to the last 9 in the year. Looks like something embedded in the lips. Guess some doubling in certain part of certain alphabets. Your thoughts and opinions will be much appreciated. Thanking you in advance.

I think your coin was damaged by heat, causing the copper plating to be removed. I also see split plating issues.

Abundant plating issues--linear and 'spot' bubbles. Appearance of some split plating. Possible die crack extending from mint mark to the rim.
