Was looking thru a 5 gallon water jug full of pennies that I acquired in a storage unit and found this example. Seem to be a lamination error? any value to it considering the great condition?

to CCF.
That would be a linear zinc bubble. Pretty common on the early zinc cent coins. Not an error , but it is in a nice location.

Interesting. I saw a video off this site with a similar error that was sent to NGC and they def graded it a mint error.

That's a joke, no one in their right mind would send a plating bubble to be certified. They are VERY common. NGC is playing extremely loose calling that an error. I would've spent it. Seriously.

Just a plating issue as others have stated. Here is a link to explain it more in depth.

To CCF! That's just a common linear plating blister. Worth face value.

Saw on another forum where NGC certified a plating bubble as an error.
Think of the thousands of new submissions they will get if they start certifying common plating bubbles.

I've recently seen PCGS error slabs for Die Chips. So this doesn't exactly surprise me.
