I am from Western Ky. Looks like I may have put the following info in the wrong area, sorry. Been collecting about 60 years. Have a 1979 dollar that I would like someone's opinion on DDO, DDR or not. first 3 are obverse. Last 4 reverse pics.

49 views with no replies...so I'll throw my hat into the ring and say IMO the reverse is showing signs of Machine Doubling. With the obverse I'm leaning towards yes, a DDO but then when checking varietyvista.com the only SBA coin listed is the 99P. Maybe send it in....Hopefully others will jump in...good luck

, full pictures of the reverse and obverse are also needed to have a better perspective of the coin , having said that the reverse appears to be MD ( Machine Doubling) , and the two digits of the date could be a minor DDO IMO .

I see Die Deterioration Doubling and Machine Doubling. The digits of the date and the star could be a DDO.

Thanks for the replies. Probably cost more than value to send in.

I've read on this forum where it costs 5 dollars to send the coin in to a guy named John to determine (and have it listed) if it is a DDO variety....I did not mean for you to send it in for grading. I should have been clearer in my first post.

Greasy , yes you're right it's only $5 , but they're not taking half dollar for attribution yet , he'll have to wait until they decided to open
