I posted the cleaning before/after shots of this coin in CRH, but thought this belonged here, apologies if that's not ideal - it was unplanned.

I'm sure it's a minor RPM (thanks Marve65), but I also (edit: think I) see doubling on IGWT/Liberty/Date and can't find a definitive match for either, even with some great potential markers.

Very nice, almost pre-cud, die crack through the right wheat stalk and a smaller one on the left, and lots of small scratches all over.

I'm stumped, any help is appreciated, thanks for looking!

I do see the RPM and Die Cracks. I do not see any doubling.

Thanks Errers, that helps a lot. I've still a lot to learn.

I'll keep searching for the RPM attribution!

Spent about an hour this morning and could not come up with anything conclusive with the pics given. I did run across several with very similar mm location and RPM on cc though. I meant to write them down but did not. I think it was 024, 078 and 079. There were more after that too. You have the coin in hand so maybe take a look at those and the later ones after 079.

-makecents-, thank you, that's incredibly appreciated! 79 is incredibly close, even has some of the same markers, just slightly different locations.

I'm marking this one as RPM / Die Crack(s) and moving on, I've spent a few hours on it myself and have so many more to get too... good experience though.

Dearborn, thanks as well!

Confirmation that there isn't doubling is just as helpful as if it were, perhaps more so in some ways.

It does help narrow things down.

jbuck, indeed, and not just for this example. Having marked where I thought I saw doubling with arrows, this is great confirmation of what specifically is not true doubling in general.

Thank you!
