i just got some money from the bank and it was all $100 dollar notes their is one serials BS 96884293 is it a test note thanks

$100 Test notes go from AN96 to CS96, so Yep, Sure is! Well done!

If the seller was claiming AJ prefix as a Test Note, he's incorrect. It's just a regular issue.

I believe that regular $100 with the prefix JK96 are the most scarce & valuable.

$100.00 1996 * Test notes issued for trial of static free substrate (prefixes used were AN to AZ, BN to BZ and CN to CS).

$5.00 1997 * Test notes issued for trial of static free substrate (prefixes used were AN to AZ, BN to BZ and CN to DN).

Test notes were issued to test various aspects of polymer note production, such as security devices, inks, wear etc. They are limited run productions and are difficult to find in high grades, with prices for the hundreds upwards of $800 to around $3000 in uncirculated grades.
