walk2dwater Pillar of the Community Canada 2588 Posts	Posted 09/17/2025 07:53 am On the reverse, I see missing imprint info on the printers info + white lines up through the god of Mercury. No planchettes are seen anywhere (front or back). All these are "tells" which suggests the note was washed. So the graders won't likely give it EPQ (nor "Original") & that will mean that the grade is "apparent" really (so I wouldn't recommend submitting). Canada67 Valued Member Canada 320 Posts	Posted 09/17/2025 10:21 am Fine, possibly VF If you think it has a chance to grade VF I would probably send it in for grading. My reasoning is that it helps protect the note from potential damage that can happen due to handling, particularly by someone inexperienced. Once you have it professionally graded, it definitely helps with pricing going forward. Great piece of history! Thanks for sharing! Report this Post to the Staff
