An obvious MS coin with strong luster and a solid strike, as is usual for this common San Francisco issue. The grade is limited by the scuffs and that scratch in the obverse field and the pockmarks on Miss Liberty's face. I think MS-62 is about right.

I would disagree with my esteemed colleague, and call this one a strong 63 with a weak shot at 64. The marks in the fields stand out because there's only two of them, and I suspect lighting may play a role in the appearance of the devices.

I agree it should go 63. The cheek gouge looks deep but the luster/strike make this an eye appealing coin.
