Looks good to me. Most counterfeits I've seen, the D is closer to the 9.

My pleasure.  I loaded images of yours, mine, and #6 in different layers in Paint.NET. Different wear and what-not makes it challenging, but they all seem to line up.

Excuse me for interrupting the party - but why is this thread in the US classic & colonials forum.  My input on the coin is it looks legit but I'm no expert. It would be great to uncover a true 1914-D LWC in that condition. I do say with certainty that this post needs to move to US Modern coins. Message sent to do so.
