Here' a 2025 quarter tuning of various colors. What actually causes the change. This is a great catch from a birds view.

Toning is caused by exposure to different environments.
Some environments may change it different hues such as
yours while others can change the colour to brown or black.
Technically it is classed as damage as it did not happen when
the coin was struck.
