This is a second nickel that I found in the current CRH batch with a similar phenomenon. Long, parallel lines run through the central reverse, apparently on the die surface. On this 2013-P nickel, many segments seem to directly line up, almost suggesting a very long die gouge or thick die scratch. However, closer inspection shows many other parallel scratches or flow lines.
I think you guys are right. I re-read the study on Feeder Finger Damage, and on page 36 there is an example that looks just like this coin. Thanks for the help. =)
