Silver Roosevelt Dime Collection Dump

Although I focus my CRH efforts on finding silver half dollars, I also search dime CWRs. Today I acquired five CWRs from a bank where I haven't had much luck since I found a silver half dollar collection "dump" 18 months ago. Recently another CRH has started using it as their "dump" bank for half dollars.

The teller didn't have any half dollars, but she let me exchange five rolls of dimes I had already searched for the five CWRs she had in her drawer. After I went home, I realized that one roll had a silver "ender" (the reverse side of a Roosevelt dime). However, that was the only silver coin in this roil. But I soon realized that two more rolls also had silver "enders". One of these rolls contained eight silver coins, and the other roll contained seven silver coins! I found seven more silver Roosevelt dimes in the last two rolls. My haul was almost half a roll of silver dimes (most of them minted in 1964).

I will return to that bank and purchase any customer-wrapped quarter rolls the tellers have.
