No damage on the rim how can the letters almost be erases and it looks like a star burst with all the lines. I work with metal and I seen damage on round stock when it's at.the end of a run from when it was formed at the mill. These are not scratches they are stamped into the coin

No damage on reverse side so it could not be from road rash

I predict the weight will be completely normal. That's a typical planchet struck by a very worn die.
