Meissen Groschen - Which Ruler? - Coin Community Forum

NumiFan Valued Member Poland 136 Posts	Posted 10/23/2025 10:15 am Hello I'm trying to figure out under which ruler this Meissen Groschen was struck. The only part that I can decipher is DEI GRATIA and GROSSUS MISNENSIS. Can someone help on this one? Report this Post to the Staff

tdziemia Pillar of the Community United States 7933 Posts	Posted 10/23/2025 1:55 pm Possibly a match: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=11046586 There were MANY subtypes of these groschens, but I think this one matches the trefoil above the lion, and the two shields at top above the ornate cross (in addition to only citing an "F" as ruler, and not additional rulers). @spence is better at these than I am, so maybe he will also have a look.
