I have a coffee can full of 1960-1982 Lincoln cents, they weigh 23 pounds. They haven't been searched. I know because I'm the one that collected them. They were taken from circulation from 2006 until 2015. What should I do with them?

If I do nothing with them, one day my daughter will inherit them. She will decide that they're a 23 lb. pain in the rear end and give them to the first person that will haul them away.

Here's a proposal... Every member who feels compelled to offload their hoard of Lincoln cents (those that aren't high value) should donate them to the upkeep of the CFF. Fill Ziploc bags or plastic water bottles and send them to bobby131313.

I've got an idea - how about copper coated zinc planchets?

The amended version turns the nickel into a clad zinc/nickel coin.

No! No! A thousand times, NO! Did we learn nothing from the zincoln? We need not repeat this mistake of the past with a zefferson!

But they have to keep the campaign donors from Artazn happy.
