You would need a steady hand to hold the bezel in a vise and unbend the pins without scratching the coin any more. It is probably scratched a bit since the pins are touching the coin. Or perhaps you can snip the pins with a fine cutter and the coin would come loose. That's what I would try from the look of it. There might be enough room to use a fine bladed jeweler's saw to cut around the edges.

With the mount being 14k it will bend easily. Just get some fine nosed pliers and bend the pins out. Something I have done many times. If your worried about scratching the coin put cotton wool on the jaws of the pliers. Good luck with it whatever you decide

Thanks for the replies. Thinking of just using cutting pliers. Should be easy enough. Will post the results.

I have to say, it looks better than expected and It could have been much worse.  Do not beat yourself up. A jeweler doing a "free for scrap" job might have been even less careful.
