I'm not getting the references to the cartoon Scooby-Doo, but then the last time I watched them was over 50 years ago, and well, "My Mind is going, Dave, I'm afraid...".

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! was an American animated comedy television series created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears and produced by Hanna-Barbera for CBS. The series premiered as part of the network's Saturday morning cartoon schedule on September 13, 1969, and aired for two seasons until October 31, 1970. The show follows the adventures of teenagers Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Shaggy Rogers, and their dog Scooby-Doo. They travel in a van known as the Mystery Machine, encountering and solving mysteries.

Once solved, the group typically discovers that the perpetrator of the mystery is a disguised person who seeks to exploit a local legend or myth for personal gain. Often, the perpetrator would direct his ire at "you meddling kids ! "

Nice HAL 9000 reference, Dearborn

Not to take away from your efforts, but "keep an eye on this space". I've been given some pretty BS replies from the Mint before.

Gilly: You were right about the sketchy replies from the USM. Clearly the response sent to me on 11/7 was either a blatant deception or the author was terribly mis-informed. Thanks for the heads up Think I'll increase my subscription quantity.

Maybe it's a way to have a standard Proof and a 250th Proof version.

Seems to be the case now, doesn't it ? I think the USM wants as many unique ASE's as they can gin up. . .

I have no real idea what it takes to keep a website going. Sometimes you catch something like this, and you really have to ponder, aren't there professionals doing this? Unless they are just totally out of touch about the US Mint and numismatics in general, HOW do you screw this up? But deliberately having a single date (when the SAME person "probably" generated the dual date 250 privy W proof), it just doesn't make sense. "You can't be that dumb!".
So I'd still maintain it was done intentionally, to get people excited and talking about it.
My theory is they didn't change the spec sheet right away. Or possibly they did the photos first and, I'd allow they honestly just forgot to change the specs. Again these people should be professional enough to not have a major "oopsie, did I do that?" moment.

I entered 2 subscriptions for these this morning. They now show on my order history as 'shipped' 11/15/25. Is this normal for subscriptions? They are supposed to be 2026

We won't know until the 2026 Product Schedule is published if this proof ASE is truly unique. . .for all we know, the mint might decide to issue the same coin in a different package under a different SKU. Probably won't know until mid to late December.

I thought it was kind of odd that the Mint is sending out emails to email subscribers offering subscriptions when they subscriptions are full.
This is going to be an interesting month.
