Jeez, mine were shipped on the third of this month, and they're still not here. Anyone else get theirs?

I checked the tracking # the mint gave me when mine shipped on the 3rd of the month. I found that it is approximately 2357 nautical miles off the coast of Madagascar on a balsa raft sort of like the one named the Kon-Tiki thatThor Heyerdahl sailed from Peru to Polynesia in 1947. It is expected to arrive at my home sometime before the end of this century.

When I say something like this when waiting for my coins, my wife says "is somebody impatient?" in a mocking, childlike voice... It's hard to wait...

well, I guess mine are still walking here, from the mint to Florida couldn't take anymore than 15 days, right? I tried to call the mint with my order number and I tried to find the place to run the tracking number on their website. Neither worked. Busy all day at the mint by phone and no place to track the package on their website. I'm of the same thought about having the package sit out on the front porch in front of God and everybody while the postal person puts my wifes' scrapbooking stuff inside the screen door. I guess he thinks that's more valuable.

It's my long-standing joke that the 1895 Philadelphia Mint Business Strike Morgan dollars are not actually 'lost', they were simply sent by the Mint in the mail and they haven't been delivered yet. Quote: "...Mint sets the size and weight of the Chicago phone book..." I was wondering why that USPS Semi truck pulled up to my house! ...but I was hoping that it would have the 1895 P Morgans that my great-grandfather mail-ordered!

Well, you have to realize that having four different patterns for every denomination has created Mint sets the size and weight of the Chicago phone book... In many areas, the mail trucks need to receive spring upgrades before they can roll out for delivery.

The worrisome thing for me is.......Not only do they "walk it to my door"......they leave the box laying on the ground right there for all to see as they walk by ! (and it just sits there ALL DAY LONG until I get home from work) ........
That happens to me with almost everything. What might be a worse feeling is when the postal person hands them to you and says HERE ARE YOUR COINS FROM THE MINT.

I returned 3 proof sets. Can you even imagine how long I'm going to have to wait for replacements? Thor Heyerdahl could've done a better job! Bruce EDIT: received ten minutes ago: "Greetings from the United States Mint. The amount below has been submitted for credit to your credit card as a result of your return or exchange being processed, or as a result of special action taken on your behalf by the United States Mint. Thank you for shopping at the United States Mint. Account will be credited for 89.85 This is a system generated e-mail. Please do not reply. If you have questions, please visit the Help page at http://catalog.usmint.gov or call us at 1-800-USA-MINT." OMG - are they going to credit my card and then re-charge it?! Good God....
