Hmm. So I recently re-acquired a Shield nickel I had awhile back.
I like 'em. I wouldn't mind adding some more.

However.... Uh.. Dansco doesn't currently have an album in production, and I can't seem to find any other brands that have one. I thought Whitman would, but they don't seem to.

I thought I could get some 21mm blank Dansco pages. Unfortunately, they don't have any sizes like this or around there available right now.

I don't really wanna go the 2x2 route. Any advice?

There are some on ebay but you'll have to pony up for it. Here's the cheapest one I could find: 187671585137

Yeah, I did see that. Definitely not trying to spend nearly 100 dollars for a single, two page album.

I wish I could find the mm pages somewhere. They seem to be out of stock everywhere.

That's outrageously expensive! Maybe try going to a local coin show, and looking for a used one. I often look for obsolete books sets. Good luck.

Wizard shows blank nickel pages in stock:

They will be a little loose, but that never really bothered me.

If you have just one nickel - just get a nickel air-tight. Will be a little bit loose but at least it will be protected. The Shield nickels have a strange diameter of 20.5 mm compared to the rest of the nickels 21.2 mm diameter.
If you don't like the loose fit then trim a piece of inert material and line the holder with it.

It's not Dansco but Whitman has a 20mm page. I don't know if the page fits in a Dansco album...or is that sacrilege

On the Dansco site it does show what is upcoming so they may come out soon with it.

I think 20 mm would be too small and 21 is too large. The Shield nickel diameter is 20.5 mm

If you go 2x2 then you can get a blank 2x2 Dansco album. Something I have had to do twice now, (all due to the hole size of the pages were not correct for the coins I wanted in an album.

Yeah, like others suggested, I opted to try the blank Whitman pages.

I actually recently purchased some different sized Whitman blank pages to see if I can fit these guys in there, since the Dansco album isn't available.
I ordered both 20mm and 21mm pages. I'm hoping it will fit in at least one of them.
If not, I'll have to figure out something else to build a collection of these.
I really like these coins so trying to build some kind of set of them is a possible goal for me. Perhaps a kind of "date" set.

I don't know why, but I love these old nickels and I think the Shield nickel has a fantastic, unique design.

I've been watching this video lately on Youtube, and this guy has a really fantastic collection of them in a Dansco album

I got these today. So with the Whitman pages, it fits into the 20mm pages.

I must admit, I'm not really the biggest fan of this... Method.
It is a start, though. I figured it would fit the 20mm.

The empty binder I purchased is kind of meh. Has way too much slack in it considering I only have 2 pages. I might look into an alternative.

Or add more pages for more things.

Room for expansion is a nice problem to have.
