1943 Steel Cent. Something Going On!

It looks like doubling but I am not sure. There is no listing for a 1943 DDO. So am I looking for something that is not there? Report this Post to the Staff

JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21583 Posts	Posted 11/24/2025 2:06 pm A doubled die would not show spread on both sides of the devices. This can be caused by Die Deterioration. Look at the edge to see if it has been plated which also could cause this effect. Report this Post to the Staff
