Picked up this first year Barber dime ***hoping*** that the obverse looks like the stunning reverse and isn't polished to oblivion. Probably just a pipe dream. Thoughts? Thanks! This looks like a really nice one! I played with the obverse photo a bit, and the only things I noticed were the die clash and the streak from the lower ear lobe to the tip of the nose. Based on the reverse, I wonder if that streak may be an alloy issue.

This came in but was extensively hairlined. Returning to its previous owner.

I'd send that one back, too. Not sure if deception was intended or if the seller leaves a lot to be desired in the photography area (as do I.)
