PCGS - In the 1930s, American numismatist James A. Stack, Sr., set out to build the most complete set of U.S. coins possible. By 1951, Stack assembled a cabinet of extraordinary depth - including a previously unpublished 1804 Class III Liberty Draped Bust Dollar, a 1795 Flowing Hair Dollar, and other rarities.
Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) was honored to authenticate and grade more than 200 coins from the legendary collection, now headed to auction on December 9, 2025, and February 3, 2026, at Stack's Bowers Galleries.
