One day we visited the Phoenix Art Museum and while browsing the 2nd floor exhibits I came across the famous Gilbert Stuart portrait of George Washington. Of course I was familiar with the portrait, but had no idea where it resided. I would have bet on one of the Smithsonian museums - but nope, it's hanging in Phoenix.
