Thank you, everyone!

How does that even work? I do have a little two drawer filing cabinet, but I think if I tuck them away, those coins will be forgotten forever.

Brand, something you said in a thread of yours was spot on. I started digging through my files and have ran across bunches of varieties that I forgot I even had.

Thanks! Check out the wheat stalks and distortion in the lower letters. The whole perimeter of the coin needs a diet.

Great double variety!

This is my favorite variety coin, as it was the first one I discovered after buying a stereo microscope. I had purchased some OBW rolls from a dealer in Fair Oaks, CA and just after that my company had a surplus sale where I bought a Bausch & Lomb StereoZoom-4 microscope. I had previously looked at varieties with B&L loupes, and the new 'scope was a revelation. I ended up finding 19 or 20 of these RPMs in the OBW roll (!!) and still own several of them today.

(good thing you went through that drawer)
I had it filed and attributed, just one of many I had forgotten about.

It's pretty nice except for some carbon spots on the reverse.

Very cool, Ray! I have noticed that there are MANY of this particular variety found in MS condition. I'm sure your pics would show the distortion on the reverse much better than mine.
