Being as this is a Denver dime, I'm leaning heavily more towards PMD (a hit) than a die chip.

I'm going with damage on the obverse.
As for the reverse? that image is to bad, I'm not going to try to see what's going on.

Also please try to post your image up right, not rotated like you have here.
