Has anyone received a mailing from unlimitedgoldreservedotcom?
I received a smalll package / large envelope seeking me as a customer and it had "a small piece of "gold" attached to one of the cards

The ingot measure 12mm x 5 mm x1.5 mm and I cannot get a weight for it
it is also marked "Gold" 999.9
my scale is busted so I can not get a weight.

Internet serch shows them to have issues.

I listed the name of the company with the word dot in their name as I dd not want to list a website link
My gut says this is a flim flam company.

Anyone had experience with them?

I avoid such solicitations. It would be interesting to take it to a local coin store that had a Sigma metal analizer or XRF to see if it's real gold, I doubt it. I compare prices with the major online dealers and my local coin store.

With all the fake coins and bullion now, only buy from someone you trust.

If my maths* and your measurements are correct, that piece weighs around 1.737 grams.

Assuming it is indeed pure gold, it is worth over $235.

Sell it now!

(Or at least confirm the weight is ~ 1.737 grams)

* I triple checked using two AI chat-bots, which probably used the same source pages for the density and spot prices.

The real question is, how did they just "randomly" pick you?

Mailing lists are bought and sold on the regular.

They can be worth their weight in gold.
