People please take a look at this ebay listing photo( provided by Hondo below ) and tell me what you think.....real or fake ? Something is drawing me towards the nose, looks to sharp or large to me.....

If someone could add a photo to this posting, it would help everyone out.

I will preface this by saying that I know almost nothing about large cents.

When I see that coin, my brain immediately screams FAKE. The details are meant to look worn, but they are very sharp, unlike a circulated coin. The stars look wrong, the word Liberty looks wrong, the hair curls and hair ties look wrong. The details that are flattened are not all the high points. The bags under the eyes look weird and not like large cents that I have seen. It just feels like a Temu coin.

I could be completely, 100% wrong and that coin could be fully legit. This is my gut feel, completely open to correction and refinement.

Well, I located the original ebay listing. Supposedly it's N-4 small stars, R-2 die marriage. I guess maybe? Comparing it to NGC VarietyPlus and PCGS reference images, I guess it could be a legit coin. Probably safe to ignore what I posted. The seller seems to have a lot of positive feedback.
