Japanese numerals 5, 10, 5 are 3rd, 4th, 5th from right bottom of value face. That's year 55 of reign of Emperor Hirohito (1980). Nice condition! I wish mine was as bright. I mean I couldnt tell you where mine came from and I've never been to Japan nor know anybody who has.It just appeared one day in the old coins tin..dunno But the date thing , I'm guessing the date is right below the 10 , mine is identical to that one except the 2nd to last figure on mine is 3 horizontal lines.
