Found this coin back in 1999 tucked in between the walls of and old house and have kept it ever since. Not sure what exactly I have here and would like to ask the community here for some insight. Thanks

To CCF! You have a Mercury dime. It's worth a couple of dollars. Pretty nice find!

This is a Mercury dime in circulated condition. It's 90 % silver I don't think it's a key date but I don't collect these check a Red Book for that information.

There is 2.5g of 90% silver in it.
You can figure out the value by the current price of silver.
