1913 S is Fine 12 just about Fine 15 but the trapped dirt makes me out it at Fine 12 at best.
1917 D is about Very Fine 25
That's my guess. Nice coins to have. Congratulations.

I basically agree with wheezydog, but think they might grade just slightly higher.

1913-S (Type 2) F-15
1917-D VF-30
