I would like to hear what you think about this Merc crossing over to a CACG holder.

It has the Trumpet Tail mint mark that I want attributed to the holder. There is a slight cloudy smudge on the reverse of the holder where the middle band is.

Thanks for all opinions!

When CAC announced they would slab coins there was an outcry from collectos b/c CAC was sending back expensive graded PCGS coins as being cleaned (hence so not valuable).

This meant people who used to trust CAC for stickers were being hit with the hard reality when no company uses any legitimate and verifiable standard for grading, the outcome can be anything the company says.

I would not risk sending it to CACG. If you really want the attribution, send it back to PCGS.

I'd leave it in it's holder. Always a crap shoot with these TPGs.

man that's a looker in an OGH! I piddle in mercs some I even watch a lot of YouTube coin channels showing CACG submissions reveals quite entertaining since there not my coins but I do notice a fat percentage get downgraded or detail grades.
That got me to thinking about the letter's CACG has put out about excellence etc. I like being enlightened it's a warm fuzzy to hear the gospel from CACG man their toppers they top them all kinda like a new squad leader out one of the Ranger Battalions busted knee or something comes into a regular legg Infantry unit goes full Batman crazy everyone ignores puts up with him because they know he's Batman crazy then year later he's normal and folks like him.
That's kinda long... anyways CACG went Batman crazy if I have a 1913 V nickel their my man but for the rest of us on planet earth I'm ok with NGC PCGS until CACG ain't Batman crazy.

Totally in a agreement here that this should be left in the holder, you would be seriously taking a chance it would lose its FB designation. if you were to sell it and mention the variety, someone that knows Mercs would still be interested in it as such
