64. A little too much obverse chatter. Reverse looks gem.

64. Looks like broken luster on reverse on inside of wreath. On both sides of head.

known for sharp bold strikes this one makes that grade. the lighting is causing some shadowing. be careful to try and avoid that. adding an additional light source might help. she may have had a light dip as the photos are presenting a slight dullness to the fields which would be caused by the lighting. if it was dipped, it was not overly done.

i think the coin would net to MS64 with that reverse.

if you know me, I rarely promote slabbing a coin. any high grade CC should probably be graded and protected imo. they will only increase in value.

Nice coin with string luster. There are a lot of small scratches on the obverse, in the fields, on the cheek, and throughout the hair and cap. The reverse is better, but has a few noticeable marks below the eagle's left wing (our visual right). I see the obverse as MS-63 and the reverse as MS-64+, for a net MS-63+. Again, nice coin!

This coin was purchased from a member in 2015. He has has since passed but was happy to forward it to another collector who would cherish it too.
