I've posted this in several places around the internet to get information. Feel free to ignore it if you've seen it elsewhere.

I found a nickel in my change. "Five cents" is printed twice on the reverse side as well as part of "United States". It's also a millimeter or less larger than other nickels. I was told it could be extremely rare.

I can't find an expert that knows anything about it. Some write it off and others say I should get it graded immediately. I'm grasping at straws scouring the internet trying to get information on it.

First, coins are not printed, banknotes are printed. Coins are struck or minted.
As noted on the other forum you have posted this on, it is a damaged coin. The fact that it is larger indicates it was done outside of the mint.
I don't know who told you it was extremely rare, tell them to make you an offer and if it is more than 5 cents, take it.
I'm sure the answers you will get here will be pretty much the same as you got on the other forum.

I'm almost as far from an expert as there is but I see the lettering all correctly oriented which rules out a vise job. I also count 3 strikes on the reverse with the the coin centered on the die for the last strike. Meanwhile, the obverse seems to only show 1 strike. But I have to say, this doesn't make sense to me and is beyond my knowledge.

To CCF! It's PMD, not an error. The flattened areas are just damage. As for the extra letters, I am not sure what caused it.

Even if it is a legitimate error, no grading company or attribution service would grade it as such due to all the obvious damage. So you pretty much just have a damaged coin.

Good eye! Not sure if that would be the case here but I think we have had some examples that have been vised more than once, maybe three times in order to end up with the correct orientation and also raised again.

Easily done with a soft die.

So the letters are 'struck' 2 or 3 times on the reverse, but the Monticello building is only struck once? I say that this has been faked somehow.

This area bothers me, not sure it's just typical damage, at least where I have pointed out. There is definitely plain ole damage all over the coin.
