No actual coins as far as I know, but quite a few fantasy issues.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Technically there are some official coins issued in the name of the British Antarctic Territory. I think I've heard of some issues in the name of other Antarctic territories, but I'm not sure how official they are.

I don't know which money (if any) actually circulates in Antarctica, but I would expect it to be mostly the currency of the corresponding station's home country.
To the best of my knowledge, no coins have ever been minted in Antarctica, but I wouldn't be very surprised if it turns out that someone did manage to strike up some tokens at some point.

It turns out that Vernadsky Research Base has a token-minting machine that makes souvenir "Antarctic hryvnias"!

A few of those have occasionally shown up on Ukrainian auction sites; I hadn't been able to find any listed elsewhere yet.
