Finally, I have found my first 98 WAM and right after that found my 2nd. Just Need the 99, 92, and (if this is even true) 96

thought id share.

Not quite.

The WAM reverse variety can be found on 1998, 1999 and 2000 dated Philly mint cents. The 1999 Philly is by far the toughest to find.

In 1992 Philly and Denver both minted a CAM reverse variety. These are both rare varieties and command significant premiums.

There is no WAM or CAM variety known for 1996 dated cents.

If you click on the blue link ===> Wide AM, you will find a nice table that lists everything to keep an eye out for.

Congrats, Littlemg2! My finds with these have always been in twos and threes, not sure why.


Some reading about the 96P WAM. It bothered many that the supposed coin came up missing and that there has been no others found but I still look at the 96's just out of habit.
