 Good eyes! I cannot figure out that "extra thickness" stuff  But, I still try to match them up now and then, anyway. Eventually I'll get one! |

Thank you, snailking1! I've been looking for these "extra thickness" Doubled Dies for a long time. It's takes time getting used to looking for modern Doubled Dies on Shield Cents, but once you get the hang of it, it'll jump out at you like nothing. Errers and Varietys.

cool beans EV I accidently discovered a nice way to have a link scroll right to the attribution needed. When you find the one you want to post - highlight the text then right click and select "Copy Link to Highlight" Post that and when you click on the link the page will jump to the text you just highlighted. But the page need to complete finish loading first. This is a great tool if the attribution is wany down near the bottom of a page - it eliminates all that scrolling. |

That is a nice shield doubled die! Very nice distortion on the inits. I have not found one of the older shield doubled dies for a while.
