This coin is a Close AM - you can tell by looking at 3 things:
1. The 'AM' of America - your AM are touching
2. The 'FG' Initials - if the initials are far from the memorial, then it is Close AM, if near the memorial, then it would be a Wide AM - your initials are Far.
3. The 'A' between the 2 'Ts' in States - If the 'A' is closer to the 2nd 'T' then it is a Close AM, if it is centered between the 2 'Ts' then it would be a Wide AM - Yours is closer to the 2nd 'T'

Partially true:
The Wide AM for this date on P and D cent coins is "Uncommon", but on the PROOF 'S' minted cent the Close AM is considered Rare.

your coin is from Denver.

Rocky, this is the last time I crop your images for you. I've been doing it since you joined. I have dropped countless notes on your topics and sent you countless emails, and I'm still ignored.

This is the last time.

Next time I will just delete the topic and images.

It's not hard, just Google whatever device you're on and cropping. It only takes seconds per image.

Close AM's on the 1998 Denver's are not rare. It's the normal design. This is what you want to look for. https://www.lincolncentresource.com/wideams.html
