American Numismatic Society - Mark Gradoni, a PHD candidate at the University of California, Irvine, discusses Late Sasanian coins from the age of the Xusr#333;ws.
Linguistic Note: the spelling of names of Sassanian kings differs from source to source, as the names are translated from the Sassanian alphabet (which does not have symbols for vowels) and there is also some difference of opinion about how some of the consonants ought to be transliterated. Thus, the name "Xusrow" in the title of this video is also spelled in various coin reference works as Khusru, Khosru, Khosrow, Khosrou or Khosrau; the ancient Greek and Latin sources spelled it "Chosroes". All different spellings, but the same name.
