2023 D Kennedy Half Dollar Error Or Over Greased Die?

Joshuwah New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 03/27/2026 9:05 pm Opinions on what's going on with "WE TRUST"? Too much grease in the die? No other issues on the obverse or the reverse noticed. This was in a roll(and entire box) of brand new BU bank wrapped rolls of all 2023 D's. This one stood out because it looks thicker than the rest and its a much rougher look than every other coin in the box, not BU like the rest. I weighed it, but it's a normal weight.
