Hello,

I looked at other pictures to match it up but the letters are really thick. Especially the Q on Quincy is very noticeable. Let me know what that is? DDD?

Thanks

A small die gouge can be found between the upper 8 and 2 in 1829?

Maybe there was a tiny bit of grease on the dies and maybe Die Deterioration? For WDDR-010, you need to read the description and look for this.

I think the WDDR-010 entry is moot, because we are discussing the obverse. That particular WDDR just has a marker near the date numbers, it is not presenting doubling on the date.

The letters and numbers shown look flattened. I would call that machine contact, but I don't know what kind of machine works with dollar coins. Something in a city like bus or train ticket machines? The right side of JQA's face looks distorted. On the left coin, his eyebrow has a sharp bend. On the other coin, it looks flat and puffy.
