Not too bad of shape for a '49S
Lower mintage of just under 10M (I only keep 40's & 50's with mintage under 50M. How about you?)
Don't know if those die scrapes are FFD. I know on modern nickels, FFD is in a NE to SW direction. How about older nickels?

Could be polishing marks on the die from a Die Clash removal.

There are definitely polishing marks on the coin. These just looked slightly heavier - which is why I started wondering.

I assume this is a CRH find? Nice one as this is 1 of 9 Jefferson with annual mintage below 10 million.
