Hard to tell, from that photo but I am thinking more like a scratch than a crack.

Could be a scratch, or a stain. Not sure which one though.

I don't take the best pictures, but, these things may help:
Try holding the coin on a slight angle to the scope.
Changing the angle the light is approaching your coin can also help.
Too much light can create glare, light induced doubling, and generally wash out what you're trying to show. I usually try to use the minimum amount of light necessary for a clear pic.
And sometimes - the darn thing is just almost impossible to get a good picture of!
Oh, and as much as possible, try to use the zoom on your microscope as little as possible. Seems to pixilate the photos (for me anyway).

Can you please post up a full coin image of both sides.
Also please let us know what mint this is from so we can update the title.

It really doesn't have any characteristics of a die crack.

Did you change the pictures?
Better pictures would still help, but it appears like it probably is a die crack.
That said, die cracks rarely add value to a coin, unless it is a dramatic, very interesting crack.

Be sure to look at as many other post here, as possible. Besides gathering some great information, you'll be able to see how some members are able to take really good pics!

Looks like something is going on I can see the curve contour from obverse and reverse? Unless its just lighting? Reverse both I is connecting with the shield like its raised. and when you look at the obverse it has that same curve. So IDK. That's what see, but It might be just my eyes.
