Not sure if it makes any difference or not but took various photos of it in dif lighting incase is helpful. Forgot to get a closer up one of mint mark but will try and add it in comments when I do because to me looks odd but not sure if it was from wear maybe or something else.

VF-20. I think the photo lighting makes it look cleaned. The middle photo shows a natural looking coin.

I used the flash in some of the photos trying to get a better shot of any wear or damage for a better guess of grading. It hasn't been cleaned to my knowledge but obviously can't say if hasnt or not prior but it's definitely not shiny like shows in the last few photos. Can I ask what you guys are able to see that tells you if it's been cleaned or not? Just in general not necessarily in this photos. Atleast I'm getting a little better because finally was thinking the same as you guys on it. It's mostly the # portion that I need more practice/knowledge with now

Had to go back and check, but it is the last 2 photos that I used flash on. The 2nd was just normal inside lighting and first photo was outside on a nice sunny day lighting. If that helps at all.

you are asking for a general rule which there is none. there are multiple ways coins are cleaned. some barely noticeable and others blatantly obvious. it can take years of looking a graded coins to understand what occurred.

here are a some vids to help get you started
