Here we go again! Once again we find ourselves solving puzzles for another of my Morgan dollars. (I just grabbed one from the drawer and it's an 1884 P Morgan (looks AU). All you puzzlers come on out! I think this one is easier than previous ones. Once again, this quote is from an American politician. (To make it easier for you, the sentences have been separated for you with correct punctuation.) Once again, the rules: 1. You must have 50 posts to win. (If the one you guess correctly on is number 50, it counts!) 2. Guess as many times as you wish. 3. You may ask questions and I will answer them (cryptically of course, but truthfully). 4. I will post hints periodically. 5. I plan to run this until someone gets it! 6. Unbridled jocularity and literary fool-hardiness are encouraged! ****Slight change to the rules****I would like the decoder to explain the encoding in order to win the Morgan. (i.e., the code should be broken in order to win, versus a lucky guess. It just seems the right way to me and more fair to the people working the code.) Enjoy my brothers & sisters! Our new Constitution is now established, and has an appearance that promises permanency; but in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.

Ben Franklin I like this quote but it is not the one encrypted. I'm sorry. (The quote is three sentences long.) (To tell you the truth, when I saw that Nod2003 had guessed, I thought "Oh no! Nod has broken the code already! Dang it!" Not quite yet... Soon, I'm sure...

Oh, I can't wait. I'll give another hint.
Hint # 2: This is a quote from a speech of a 20th Century U.S. Politician.

Just so you know, I am working on it when I get the chance, but my window is closing soon and I am sure it will be cracked before tomorrow.

I'll try three JFK quotes.
1. For I am convinced that we in this country and in the free world possess the necessary resource, and the skill, and the added strength that comes from a belief in the freedom of man. And I am equally convinced that history will record the fact that this bitter struggle reached its climax in the late 1950's and the early 1960's. Let me then make clear as the President of the United States that I am determined upon our system's survival and success, regardless of the cost and regardless of the peril!
2. No other challenge is more deserving of our every effort and energy. Too long we have fixed our eyes on traditional military needs, on armies prepared to cross borders, on missiles poised for flight. Now it should be clear that this is no longer enough-that our security may be lost piece by piece, country by country, without the bring of a single missile or the crossing of a single border.
3. We dare not fail to see the insidious nature of this new and deeper struggle. We dare not fail to grasp the new concepts, the new tools, the new sense of urgency we will need to combat it-whether in Cuba or South Viet-Nam. And we dare not fail to realize that this struggle is taking place every day, without fanfare, in thousands of villages and markets-day and night-and in classrooms all over the globe.

From a great president too! Unfortunately, these are not the speech excerpts that are encoded here. That's the best part of this code contest! All these great quotes!

Wow, there are some real words in there. I have found Khan, Ah-ha and atom.
"When the Great Kahn, tries on 15625 Ughs, there will be laughter. When the great Kahn listens to Ah-Ha, there will be silence. When the great Kahn bring the atom bomb to Gitmo, there will be pain." George W Bush.

And whatever happened to Ah-Ha? Your quote is not this quote, but it is quite noteworthy!
