Hi

Are there any known Rev. die varieties with a no FG initials ?
Or are all no FG's just grease jobs etc.
Two that I have in question are: 1987-D and 1988-P
Thanks
Rest in Peace

I have had a 1988 without the FG in the past and was told it was from over polishing in that area of the die and had no extra value.

All Memorial cent reverse designs had the initials, and all were in the same general spot - to the right of the Memorial base.

All examples of 'missing initials' are caused by either an obstructed die (such as with grease), an overpolished die, a very worn die, weak hubbing, or some combination of these.

Very good. Thank you. Right after I found these two today I found
a 2000 WAM. Had one before but was a few years ago.
Not a biggy but still cool.
