fortcollins Pillar of the Community United States 3632 Posts	Posted 06/06/2026 2:59 pm The obverse has some contact marks that IMHO hold it to MS-64. The cut in the forehead and the longer intermittent scratch from the nose to the top of the lower curls are the most noticeable, There is something going on in the hair above the eyes, but that could be a minor lamination or struck-through. The reverse has a few contact marks on the eagle's breast and above the eagle's left wing that are noticeable, along with some minor rim rash. On balance, I'm at MS-64 here. My hunch is that the toning looks much more even in hand. Nice coin! Report this Post to the Staff
