I've found about 6-7 log cabins (All Denvers except one) and about 4-5 "Formative years" all D. All of these I found in rolls or in my register. I'll have to start asking for rolls again, maybe I'll get lucky.

I have my bank order me a few hundred in pennies a week. Usually I get 3 or 4 boxes of log cabins or rail splitters.

Tried another bank today and still no luck. I did pick up 5 log cabins while roll searching so they're coming from somewhere.

Some tellers aren't even aware that the new pennies are out yet.

I found my first 2009 cent yesterday while walking around downtown Houston, there it was laying homeless along side the curb. My wife and I can't seem to turn down things in need of rescue, snatched that cent up from the dirty streets and gave it a new home in my pocket.

So far I've found 3 2009-P Roosevelt dimes in change here in Central Massachusetts, but nothing else, go figure! I suspect they've been coming out of our local Walmats. Nothing in banks, not even the new Cents in circulation. I hope they will eventually show up somewhere so I can get some rolls to pass around singles to club member's. I have people on the lookout all over the country, but so far, nothing. ~ Jim

Let's face it, these coins will not see much circulation. I can envision a time when an AU or XF will be more desireable than uncirculated for some collectors. LOL in 1999 I was lucky to be in a place that was suffering a quarter shortage, so the banks and businesses were chock full of newly-ordered State Quarters and I was able to get many in mint state. Now I gotta move to a place with a Cent shortage Best Bruce

Fortunately, I have 35 Brinks rolls of BU LP2s (P) from the Wal-mart where I work.

My daughter got three log cabins back in change yesterday at Quiznos. The first we have seen yet, although I have got plenty of rolls from my bank.
