Has anybody heard of the Appalachian Hoard? They were around and popular for a while. I purchased the below but no longer have it. There were a bunch of coins, mostly Jefferson War Nickels.

They were mostly awesomely toned! The below made it into a slab. It was certified MS 64 * by NGC even with the big gash on the reverse. Nobody cared about the gash after they saw the color!

Does anybody here have any of these coins? If so please post photos!

Never heard of it. Striking color though!

That is a beautiful coin. The toning on it is just amazing. I like the purple on the reverse.
