I just received my mint set today. First mint sets I've ever purchased from the mint. I was excited to open it and see the fill array of 2026 coins. Right away I see this huge scratch on the Abe Lincoln Denver quarter. Then I see a small copper shard that looks like it was struck with the quarter and put in the holder. Thoughts. I kinda want to return it but if its a strike through is it worth keeping?

WOW! Double strike through! A shard of copper and a piece of steel (?) wire! Are they both raised from the surface - or is the plating missing and it's a scratch. We need better pictures please.

As long as the pics aren't lying...NICE ERROR COIN!

Wow, that's some pretty poor QC for a $125 set. I'd see if you can get a replacement.

HOWEVER you may have something interesting on your hands...

I would say it's a struck through error.
