It appears to be cast, those bumps look like casting sprues. This fact should narrow it down a bit. Sap Moderator Australia 16883 Posts	Posted Today 3H 52M ago In a case like this, what I think we have is not a cast coin, but a cast blank which was then used to strike an otherwise-normal coin. Casting sprues like this can often be seen on small Seleucid and late Ptolemaic bronzes.
