His one-cent varieties look to be selling very well at the
RCNA auction.
The 1881 SSN ws the star and went for $5,500 CAD, plus $1,072.50 in juice, and likely snother $825 in GST. $7,400 CAD for a PCGS VF-30. It is a very scarce coin and has been largely underestimated by both Trends ($1,500) and Numicanada/Coinsandcanada (about $650) for a long time.
I bid early on it but dropped out way before the end.
Also, the 1893 TP9 in PCGS in 63 Brown went for $3,500 CAD ($4,707). The 1858 FV in AU-53 went for $1,500 CAD ($2,018). Strong prices IMO.
